I know everyone says this, but I can’t wait to be done with high school. Everyone here is so cookie cutter. People expect you to be perfect by their standards. When college comes around I plan on living with friends, not worried about anyone else’s standards. I’ll be studying what I want, when I want. I can try new things, because no one can tell me not to. I am beyond ready for freedom.
Oh awkward moments…
I don’t have a license. This isn’t because I am lazy and don’t want to do work. It’s because my parents are 12-hour-day workers and don’t have the time to take me driving that often. When they do have the time, they generally don’t have the money for gas or just want to relax at home.
When I say I don’t have a license to drive, I seem to get this judgmental reaction. Sorry I’m not as privileged as you are?
